Location Élite, together with its subsidiaries, affiliates, and related entities (collectively, “Location Élite,” “we,” or “our”), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) explains why and how we collect, use, share, store, transfer, and protect (collectively, “Process,” “Process,” and any variations thereof) your Personal Information, as further described in the section “About This Policy.” The way we process your Personal Information may evolve over time, and we will update this Policy from time to time to reflect evolving practices, as explained below.
About This Policy
This Policy explains why and how Location Élite processes your Personal Information in connection with equipment rentals and related products and services offered by Location Élite (the “Services”). It also explains why and how we process your Personal Information on behalf of rental centers, for example, when managing their customer accounts or providing email marketing services. The rental center(s) from which you rent equipment may also process your Personal Information for other purposes. In such cases, we encourage you to contact these rental centers to exercise your rights or learn more about how your Personal Information is processed.
This Policy also explains why and how we process your Personal Information when you visit our website, mobile application, and other platforms (collectively, the “Location Élite-Powered Platforms”), including via cookies.
What Is Personal Information?
For the purposes of this Policy, “Personal Information” means any information about an identifiable individual, including information that can be used alone or with other data to identify, contact, or locate a person. Generally, Personal Information does not include professional contact information, such as your name, title, or professional contact details.
What Personal Information Do We Collect?
The Personal Information we collect may include, but is not limited to:
Contact information (e.g., your name, address, email, phone number, account username and password, if applicable);
Date of birth;
Survey responses;
Technical information (e.g., information about your mobile device(s) and/or computer(s), GPS location, unique device identifier, and transactions you conduct).
How Do We Collect Your Personal Information?
Directly from you: We generally collect the Personal Information we need directly from you, for example, when you use the Service, visit and/or navigate the Location Élite Platforms, or communicate with us. We may also collect information generated by your mobile devices and/or computers (e.g., mobile advertising identifiers, location information, and IP address).
With a legal basis, such as your consent: The legal basis for processing your Personal Information is generally your consent, except where applicable law allows another legal basis (e.g., to comply with legal obligations, when necessary to establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim, prospective legal claim, judicial proceeding, or prospective judicial proceeding).
Opt-Out and Withdrawal of Consent
You have the right to refuse the processing of your Personal Information. You may also, at any time and subject to reasonable notice and applicable legal or contractual restrictions, withdraw your consent (if applicable) for the processing of your Personal Information in our possession by contacting us. However, please note that choosing not to provide your Personal Information may prevent you from using the Service, as this information is essential to providing the Service. You can contact Location Élite as indicated in the “How to Contact Us” section to resolve any issues in this regard.
Why Do We Collect Your Personal Information?
For specific and limited purposes: Location Élite generally collects your Personal Information to:
Provide the Service, including enabling equipment rentals, confirming successful rentals, tracking your location, and delivering equipment if applicable;
Respond to your requests or inquiries;
Authenticate account users;
Deliver advertisements during the use of the Service, Location Élite Platforms, or third-party services, including social media;
Recommend services and products based on your preferences;
Administer surveys you have agreed to complete; and
Send messages and manage email campaigns on behalf of Location Élite.
To send you communications: If you have consented, Location Élite may send newsletters, emails, updates, contests, special offers, and/or other communications (the “Messages”) regarding Location Élite services and/or products and/or third-party products or services. Messages are sent for Location Élite’s own purposes. Location Élite may also use Direct Push notifications and your location information on our mobile app to send alerts about local promotions.
You may unsubscribe from Messages as indicated in the “How to Contact Us” section or by following instructions in the Messages. You may also disable Direct Push notifications via your device settings. Processing your request may take up to ten (10) days. Location Élite may still send Messages regarding updates, critical technical issues, or important account information (if applicable).
For secondary purposes: Location Élite may aggregate and anonymize Personal Information you provide to create statistical data for improving the Service, analyzing trends and interests, training machine learning algorithms, or sharing with third-party partners, including rental centers, advertising partners, and research institutions. Such statistical data does not include Personal Information.
Who Do We Share Your Personal Information With?
We do not rent or sell your Personal Information to third parties and will not share it without your consent, except as required by law or for the purposes described below.
With our employees: Employees may access your Personal Information as needed to perform their duties, e.g., responding to inquiries. Access is limited to what is necessary.
With strategic partners: Location Élite may share your Personal Information with partners to fulfill the purposes above. Third-party service providers may assist with business operations such as payment processing, delivery, hosting services, customer account management, email communications, or customer support. These providers may access your Personal Information for a limited time and for the specific purpose of assisting with these operations. Reasonable contractual and technical safeguards are implemented to protect your information. These providers may be located outside your province, territory, state, or country.
As required by law: Location Élite may disclose your Personal Information when required by law or in good faith to: (i) comply with legal obligations; (ii) respond to judicial orders in any jurisdiction; (iii) comply with legal proceedings; (iv) protect Location Élite’s rights or property; (v) enforce agreements with you; (vi) prevent fraud or illegal activity; or (vii) address urgent safety circumstances.
During a business transfer: We may share your Personal Information without consent during a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, or asset sale, including with relevant third parties for due diligence purposes.
For other purposes with your consent: If you expressly consent, your Personal Information may be shared with third parties under specific conditions.
Third-party services and platforms: Our Platforms may include links to third-party websites or services (e.g., Google or social media platforms). These third parties may share information with us, and your activity on our Platforms may appear on social media. Please consult the privacy policies of these sites, apps, or platforms for their data collection practices. This Policy only applies to information processed by Location Élite or on its behalf.
How Long Do We Retain Your Personal Information?
Location Élite retains Personal Information only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, for legitimate business interests, or to comply with legal, tax, or regulatory requirements. After this period, Personal Information will be destroyed, deleted, or anonymized. For more information, see the “How to Contact Us” section.
How Do We Protect Your Personal Information?
With appropriate security measures: Location Élite employs physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards in compliance with applicable laws. We encourage caution when using the internet, including not sharing passwords. If you suspect unauthorized account creation in your name, contact us as indicated in “How to Contact Us.”
Increase your privacy level: You can manage mobile device tools such as disabling GPS or Direct Push notifications. Each Direct Push notification provides an unsubscribe link.
Children’s Privacy
Location Élite Platforms are intended only for persons aged 13 or older. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Parents or legal guardians who believe a child under 13 has provided Personal Information may contact us as indicated in “How to Contact Us.”
How Do We Use Cookies?
Definition: Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you browse an online service. Other tracking technologies, such as web beacons and pixels, may also be used. These are collectively referred to as “Cookies.” Personal Information collected via Cookies is treated with the same privacy standards.
Strictly necessary cookies: Required for the Service to function. Examples include login, cart, or e-billing functionality.
Non-essential cookies: With consent, Location Élite and third-party partners may use functional, social media, advertising, and analytics cookies as described above. These may be used to personalize content, measure engagement, or deliver targeted advertising.
Managing cookies: Non-essential cookies are stored for a maximum of 13 months and require renewed consent. Cookies can be managed via browser settings and mobile device advertising settings. Refusing cookies may limit some functionality.
How Do We Provide Online Advertising?
We may collect Personal Information via cookies, surveys, or mobile advertising identifiers (IDFA for iOS, AAID for Android) to provide relevant advertisements. We do not target advertising to users under 13.
Do Not Track: We currently do not respond to Do Not Track (“DNT”) signals, as there is no universally accepted standard.
Where Is Your Personal Information Stored and Transferred?
Your Personal Information may be stored and processed outside your province, territory, state, or country of residence, including in Canada. Location Élite ensures appropriate legal, technical, and organizational safeguards are in place.
Your Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to access, rectify, withdraw consent, restrict processing, object to processing, or request data portability of your Personal Information. To exercise these rights, contact Location Élite as indicated below.
By creating an online rental account, you consent to collection, storage, and sharing of your Personal Information with affiliates and subsidiaries for a smooth rental experience and faster future payments. You may deactivate or delete your account at any time.
When placing an order, you consent to the collection, storage, and use of your Personal Information to process your transaction. Your information may be shared with the rental center or its affiliates for order confirmation and fulfillment.

Changes to This Policy
Location Élite may update this Policy to comply with applicable laws or business operations. Significant changes may be communicated via email or online notices. Continued use of the Service, Platforms, or submission of Personal Information constitutes acceptance of such changes.
